The Dutch Ministry of Interior and Ministry of Social Affairs and Employment have acquired acoustic furniture for their open-plan offices in The Hague starting from 2022. Units have been delivered on several occasions between 2022 and 2026. sshhh 1, sshhh 2 and sshhh 4 — workspace for one, conference room for two and conference room for four.
Repeat deliveries are the most relevant information in this reference. The first purchase shows that the product convinced during the bidding phase. Additional orders placed over four years show that it worked in use.
Why were they acquired??
The situation was the same in both ministries; There was no place in the open office to retreat to for a confidential conversation or a video conference, and no new rooms could be built.

This is the point where the furniture differs from the booth. The upholstered outer surface also dampens sound to the surrounding space, not only in and out. The unit placed in an open office therefore also improves the acoustics of the space where it is placed.
All three models are 1830 mm high — more than 40 centimeters lower than the industry's most common booth height. They fit under air conditioning ducts and lowered ceilings, and the view over the room is preserved.
What came of it?
The ministries are visited by visitors who see the units in use. Those interested will be directed forward Evavaara Design for the Dutch partner.
So the customer not only continues to use and order more, he recommends further.
